Turn Opinion into Action

A co-production between The Electoral Commission and MTV, Turn Opinion into Action encouraged young people to become more engaged in politics and to register to vote.

As well as giving voting information, this microsite encouraged creativity in getting a message across and featured a competition tasking young people with coming up with their own ways of passing the Have Your Say message on. Video and stories of previous years’ winning entries featured to provide inspiration.

The viral nature of the e-card feature and prizes including much sort after internships in the creative industry saw solid participation and awareness.
